I've seen other people have problems with messenger but I've got a reproducible problem that I can't figure out. We have the HN9000 modem and it already gives us problems several times a week. But I can make the modem reboot just by clicking on someone in windows messenger who has changed their profile picture. I've done it 10 times now over the last several days. I'll try this at various times and it always results in the modem rebooting. I can't figure out why.
