The Salvation Army runs a summer children's camp at Lac L'Achigan, Québec each summer. Due to the distance from a major town, we are unable to purchase DSL coverage. For the past 8 years we have only had dial-up internet.
We are looking for reliable hi-speed internet service to communicate with our head office and provide basic email and web surfing for our summer staff and campers. Keeping in contact with friends and family is important, especially for many pre-teens. Our typical camping season runs from the end of May until the end of September.
We are wondering if some Canadian satellite internet provider could make any price considerations for a non-profit charity such as The Salvation Army. We would be more than willing to offer public acknowledgment in media and/or a tax-deductible receipt for any consideration possible. I would be very interested in discussing this matter further personally.
