Tooway Ku installation close to Barcelona center (Spain).

A Tooway Ku install for a software engineer working from home. System is installed about 10 min from Barcelona center, local ADSL connection provided by Telefonica is very unstable.

distance of dish from house

ClearBlue tells me that my dish is too far away from my house to get a good satellite connection...  could that be true?

Currently the dish is in a clearing (only visible spot) about 150 feet from the house...  Never been an issue with tv signal, but wonder how much difference internet would be... Please advise. Thank you!

Xplornet and D-Link DI-604

My Xplornet system was installed today and works well on the system used to test the installation. I'm attempting to make use of my D-Link 604 so my two other computers can share access and I'm failing.

I've followed the instructions for configuring a cable modem on the D-Link site several times. I don't get the public IP address listed and the DHCP renewal fails every time.

Any suggestions or links? Thank you.

Bill
