The launch of SandukaNet, the global network from relief and development agency World Vision, has been announced by Intelsat Ltd, a provider of commercial satellite services, and iDirect Inc, a company of VT Systems Inc , a provider of satellite-based IP communications technology.

Intelsat said it is providing satellite capacity and broadband connectivity, via its GlobalConnex (GXS) Network Broadband service, for World Vision's international operations in remote field locations.
