Hughes has been making a lot of frequency changes, usually dropping a lease on a full transponder (30Msps) and taking a half-transponder lease (15Msps). Until now I have only been aware of them after-the-fact, but today there are two scheduled ones that have filtered down:

June 22nd 5-8am EDT 89W 1390 is scheduled to move to 1381. That one has already hit some modems via a primary/secondary assignment, but is apparently to be final at ...

But I cant find any other C-COMsat. Any ideas what others satellite internet
service VARs (value added resellers) are available?

I have installed 3 of the SkyWay for DDI this past year.

Getting paid has been a challenge.
Months pass until they need another install and I want paid for past job before another.

Never paid sooner than 90 days after many wheres-my-$$-emails. Last install is over 100 days past due now...

Hi all, I am considering Starband for my RV. I have been googling information on gaming via satellite, problem is most of the info is 3+ years old. I was wondering what people's experiences with Starband and MMO gaming are like today?

So I was actually just board and I started to look for the passwords for the advanced UI button at the bottom of the connect page on the skyway usa modem and turns out its really simple. Its advanced for both the username and password and also i was just looking around and found that you can connect to the modem with telnet and the username root with a password of xyzzy you cant actually ...

I haven't installed a SB in years. I agreed to reinstall one of the new ones, he hasn't found the box it is in to get model number yet but it is new enough to to still be under contract so isn't an old 360 which is the last time I put one up.

He didn't say who he bought it from but doesn't want to use them again - he is only moving about ...

Does anyone have an installed STARBAND system?

I was looking at their plans. Not too much different than Hughesnet.

Anyone with any experiences with this system, please share.

I know there is a FAP, but seems less restrictive.
