Satellite Internet Forum

Hi,
I hope Internet forum is a good source of info. Anyway, I'm interested in an extended stay in Nicaragua but my job relies on a stable, fast Internet connection. Can anyone tell me what the availability is there? Is it available outside the major cities? Along the coast (either one :) )? Thanks for your response!!!

Alright, call me technologically uninformed on this subject, but I feel I only know what may be considered extremely basic.

I am considering buying a parcel of land in a basically uninhabited area in the coast of Nicaragua. Of course, I will need to have internet access, I am guessing via satellite.

Although I have done a modicum of research, would someone explain in laymen's terms, or just terms easy enough to understand the following: ...

Anybody have any success or failure stories on sat internet in Nicaragua?  I assume, since the guys that are using HUGHES can get it in Costa Rica, I could get it in Nicaragua since they are further south than I am. Thanks.

I would like pricing information for satellite internet service. We are a mission
society (Hispana Mission Society) located in the village of Tecolostote, Nicaragua.
We currently use a 3G air card that offers inconsistent spotty service. I look
forward to hearing from some sat-internet provider shortly.
