I have an Rx connection but there is no Tx. The LED status on the SAT LED is blinking very slowly. The BUC and cables are in good condition. What should I do to establish TX connection?

I have Linkstar modem and recently switched provider's from NSS6 to Eutelsat W6. I was told by the new provider that I am using the wrong dish for Eutelsat W6 and that is why my QPSKBER is low. I have a Andrew (Channel Master) 1.2m Class 1 dish and need a Andrew 1.2m Class 2 dish.

I purchased 2 Link Star systems from Bentley Walker in England since around February 2006. We tried setting up these systems on AB1 satellite. However, this proved futile.

Hallo, At 21 April 2007, Speedcast KU-Band (PAS12) had upgraded the RCST (Linkstar) to the new version like below:

After upgrade done, my RxPower decreased about 4 value (before -46 and after -50).
Also, my upload speed decreased 30-50%.
Please confirm if there are other people have same problem like me.

I have just setup a NewSat 2 way internet system (LinkStar), it came standard with 30ft cables as my signal was a little weak (4 zeros) I was told if I shortened the cables it would work better. I have several questions regarding LNB orientation on Ptriot 1.2 m antenna and Linkstar viasat modem.

1. what is the correct position of the LNB regarding to the Filter? Should LNB's resonator pin look stright in to the Filter's tunnel (i.e. be in line with tunnel's center line?) Should LNB's aperture be in parallel with Filter's aperture, or crossed?

2. What is the correct position of the LNB relative to the BUC? Should heat radiator ...

An unknown person stole a Linkstar Indoor Unit from a cybercafe about May/June this year. All attempts to locate it have not been successful.

Can someone help with how to trace and locate the missing Indoor Unit in the Net?
