HELP!!!  NEED TO GET MY DIRECWAY SETUP!!

I have just purchased Direcway DW7000 and it has the .74 dish. I dont know if the dish matters. It came with no instructions on how to point the dish. Anyway, my nephew installs Dish Network. And he has a Bird Dog satelitte finder. Our question is - we need to get the dish pointed in the right direction. My zip code is 47834, so if anyone can please help me get the numbers (AZ, EL, Pol). Also ...

DirecWay

Greetings.

We recently re-roofed the house and removed the dish in the process. Well, we forgot to mark the original mounting holes and have no clue how to realign the dish. I really don't want to pay another $150 to have an installer come back out and set it up.

Also, we may be changing to a pole mount. Any suggestions on why type of pole to use?

Thank you in advance.

HN7000S Losing signal from 11am to 4pm on sunny days

Our HN7000s modem loses signal (the transmit, receive, and system lights all go out) from 11am to 4pm every day when it is sunny outside. It's been doing this for the past few weeks. I checked the modem's IP and we only have a signal strength of 29 during that time and there are red X's on the cabling/antenna pointing, uplink queuing, and sometimes the DNS acceleration columns.

I have tried hard resets, connecting directly ...

More info about satellite internet

I am in the middle of shopping for satellite internet. I found some info from a website called InfoDish.com.

Is there any info I need to know before signing up a HughesNet service from them? I appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

HughesNet service on Satmex6 ?

I am interested in establishing the facts surrounding HughesNet service(s) on the Satmex6 satellite. The conflicting information I have received so far:

1. There is a HughesNet carrier operating on Satmex6 at 12000 MHz Horizontal down ?
2. There is a Hughesnet hub in Mexico ?
3. There is a Hughesnet hub in Panama that sells the service via multiple resellers throughout central and south America countries ( Mexico, Honduras, Brazil etc. )
4. The ...

Hughesnet Satellite difficulty

I am new to forums but I do read user reviews and such online. There is a lot of useful information offered by individuals and end users. I would like to do that here. Without getting too long winded about it, I am compelled to post this advisory regarding the poor internet service and abysmal customer service we received from Hughesnet.

I run a small business which we recently moved into our home to reduce ...

Gotta switch to DW7000, Pretty Clueless

I am running an old 2-way satellite modem right now. I bought it new when I first had the satellite set up over 4 years ago. I have had a DW7000 modem sitting here for 9 months but I have been afraid to install it. The only two times I had a problem with my satellite, Direcway was such a nightmare, that it took 3 weeks one time and 4 weeks the second time to ...
