Self Install Two Way Satellite Internet

Anyone know of any ISP's that provide two way Internet that will allow self-installs? My home is in America (Florida) however I am currently stationed in Guantanamo Bay (GTMO), Cuba which limits who can come and do an installation. Any advice on a two way provider that will allow a self install is appreciated.

Router Hosted Hughes Net FAP Monitor

Router Hosted Hughes Net FAP Monitor

Description
This script fap-monitor.sh runs quite nicely on a Linksys WRT54GL router under Tomato firmware. I'm not sure what other routers or firmwares it might work with. close to the one Mb/sec ...

I purchased DirecTV with Wild Blue Satellite. Previously when running DSL Linksys wireless was sufficient. Now though the Linksys is similar to a hare running vs a jaguar.
Are there any routers for wireless internet that would replace the Linksys and speed up my wireless system?

CIR - Committed Information Rate

Please, what is the committed information rate (CIR) and how does this apply to a shared satellite Internet platform?

How can one use this figure to calculate the number of computers that a particular bandwidth tier can support.

For instance, 1024/128 shared platform with 8:1 contention. what is the CIR, and how many systems can hook up?

thank you in advance for the answers!
