Google and AIM not working, again

The HN7000S is the latest satellite router for the Ku-Band platform. HughesNet's Ku-Band platform offers high-speed Internet via satellite in locations not covered by HughesNet's Ka-Band platform (Spaceway).

Google and AIM not working, again

Postby abc12 » Sun Nov 07, 2010 8:14 am

Every morning at around 7:30am I start having issues with Google and AIM. Google stops loading and AIM 5.9 stops responding until it disconnects. The only way I can get them back is to either restart my computer or reset our HN7000s modem -- but sometimes neither of those things work and I'm left without access until 8am - 8:30am. All other websites load fine and strangely enough, the latest version of AIM also works during this time. From January 2010 - June 2010, I had the exact same issue except it lasted from 5pm to 11pm. Google wouldn't load and AIM 5.9 wouldn't connect. Apparently HughesNet released an update that fixed it sometime between those months and I haven't had any issues up until yesterday.

The modem's page lists no errors and everything on Hourly History has green checks except Web Acceleration[I], which has a red X a couple of hours prior to this happening.

We use a Linksys router with Linksys wireless adapters and this happens on all computers. It does not happen on Verizon Mobile Broadband.
